The Drill-less Drill (Air abrasion or abrasive technology)

Advances in dentistry now allow us to remove early decay and small fillings as well as repair fractures without a drill. "Air abrasion" gently removes stains, decay or small fillings often without using anesthetic.

A tooth-colored filling can be rapidly placed in these areas and a truly painless visit to the dentist may now be possible!

T.V.'s in the ceiling!

Dental office with televisions on the ceiling.Sitting in the dental chair with your mouth wide open while the dentist works is no fun - unless you are channel surfing in Dr. Goldstein's office. The T.V.'s are mounted in the ceiling just above your head. You have wireless headphones so you can turn up the volume and drown out the whine of the drill. You don't like T.V.? Well, then use our stereo headphones!

Computer Imaging

Computer imaging for dentistryEver wonder what your smile would look like if it were improved? Well now with computer imaging, we can take a photo of your current smile, and, with the help of a computer, bleach it, veneer it, or make any cosmetic improvement we would like to investigate. Our computer will simulate these changes for you before the work is done with a before and an imaged after result. This way, you never have to guess or assume what your new smile will look like.

Digital X-ray

We take only the necessary X-rays. We, like you, are concerned about radiation. Lead shields, the latest in X-ray equipment, and high-speed film, all help to shield and protect you.

If you have X-rays from a previous dentist, we want to see them. They may be adequate and you will have no need for new ones. So, please make sure we have your old X-rays before your appointment.

Protective Guards

Night grinding appliances / Nightguards / TMD appliances (Temporomandibular dysfunction)

Protective guard for teethMany people release stress by clenching or grinding their teeth. This wears the teeth down, exposing the inside or dentin of the teeth and allows for staining. Other problems that can occur are headaches, neck pain, back pain and earaches.

Oftentimes, a plastic appliance worn at night can help or solve the problem.

Dr. Goldstein uses the latest innovation which is a smaller and more comfortable appliance.

Snore Guards

If your partner suffers from your loud "snore" then this appliance will help! Just wear it at night and your partner will be able to "hear a pin drop."

Sports Guards

Make sure that everyone you care for who is involved in contact (and sometimes non-contact) sports wears a sports guard. We make custom, extremely comfortable guards which ensures they will be used and will protect those pearly whites.
